ELEKTROBUDOWA wins the title of “Trustworthy Company” in the rating of the Polish Institute of Directors

ELEKTROBUDOWA is among 12 companies who received the greatest score for observing the corporate governance rules. The rating prepared by the Institutional Investors Chapter of the Polish Institute of Directors shows how listed companies implement the corporate governance standards. There are twelve evaluating criteria covering four areas: ownership structure, general meetings and relations between shareholders and other interest groups, financial transparency and disclosure of information, and also the structure and internal processes of the supervisory board. The Chapter gave scores from “-5” to “5” in each category. Final evaluation is an average of those grades. It is the second time that the rating of observance of corporate governance standards has been held and the second time that ELEKTROBUDOWA has won the highest score.

Only the companies which observe corporate governance standards are considered in the rating. According to Polish institutional investors the highest rating guarantees the company’s professional approach to those standards. In the opinion of its organisers the rating is the most representative appreciation of the companies by Polish investors.
